Ava is configured with your crisis protocol. If a caller expresses suicidal ideation or immediate risk, she immediately provides the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline number, encourages calling 911 if in immediate danger, and alerts your on-call contact if configured.
Is client intake data stored securely and in Canada?
Yes. All data is stored on Canadian servers in compliance with PIPEDA. We recommend consulting your provincial regulatory college (e.g., CRPO in Ontario) for any additional obligations.
Can Ava screen for clinical fit without making clinical decisions?
Yes. Ava can ask your configured intake questions (presenting concern, therapy goals, past therapy history, modality preference) and pass that to you before the consultation. She doesn't make clinical assessments.
